The World Furniture Forum, coinciding with the 2022 Annual General Meeting of the World Furniture Confederation (WFC) on October 26th, is a significant online event organized by the Council of Asia Furniture Association.

Under the theme of “Industrial Transformation, Future Advancement”, the Forum creates an opportunity to analyze the status quo and explore potential possibilities. More than 70 participants of Industrial leaders, international company executives, professionals and researchers around the world attend this forum.
Vietnam’s Furniture Industry: A Decade of Growth
Mr. Nguyen Chanh Phuong, Vice Chairman of HAWA shared about the development of Vietnam’s Furniture industry during the past decade, the role of the government, associations & businesses in promoting the industry’s sustainable development.
Through the forum, Mr. Phuong also introduced the HawaExpo 2023 fair taking place from February 22-25, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and welcoming the participation of international visitors.
HawaExpo is the national-level trade fair that is incorporated by 5 largest wood associations throughout Vietnam with strong consents and support from the Government.
In this forum, HAWA was honored to join representatives from large corporations and organizations in the world such as IKEA, CSIL… to contribute to this topic.

Vietnam, in particular, has emerged as a leading destination for foreign investment in furniture manufacturing, with its products reaching a global audience.
