On the evening of February 9th, a significant press conference was held to officially announce the inaugural HawaExpo 2023, scheduled to take place from February 23rd to 25th.
Introduction to the Press Conference
Attending to this event were Mr. Le Hoang Tai – Deputy Director of Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, Mr. Le Huynh Minh Tu – Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of HCMC, Vietnam Commercial Affair Officer in Israel, England, representatives of exhibitors, buyers and nearly 30 journalists of domestics & foreign newspapers.
The Significance of HawaExpo 2023
At the press conference, the authorities has emphasized the importance of HawaExpo in promoting trade efficiency, strengthen the local enterprises ability and partial contributed to the achieve the 20 billion USD goal set for wood export by 2025.
According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh – Chairman of HAWA, with the exhibition space up to more than 28,000sqr, 1,600 booths, nearly 200 leading export furniture manufacturers will seize a chance to promote their business to more than 1000 foreign visitors around the world.
Collaboration to Promote Vietnamese Culture
Also, another highlight during the event, HAWA signed a MOU with HCMC Tourism Association (HTA) to promote Vietnamese culture for international buyers via series of side activities within the fair program.
