How to apply for E-VISA in Vietnam: Requirement & Process

Applying for an e-Visa in Vietnam is a straightforward process involving identification verification, documenting travel plans, and online payment. Prepare your passport, a recent passport-sized photo, and all relevant travel details. Fill out the form on the Vietnam Immigration’s official site, pay the $25 fee, and wait for a processing period of about three working days.

E-Visa Requirements

• A passport with six (6) months’ validity
• A photo in .jpg format of your full passport data page
• A passport photo in .jpg format (4×6, white background, without glasses)
• A valid international credit or debit card
• An email address for support purposes
• A temporary address within Vietnam
• Your entry and exit dates and entry and exit points/airports

Application Process

 Apply online at Vietnam Electronic Visa (E-VISA), with a fee of 25 USD, valid for 30 days with single entry. After applying, wait three working days to download the e-Visa.

1. Visit the Official E-Visa Website: Start by opening Vietnam’s official e-Visa application website.
2. Upload Passport Documents: Upload .jpg images of your passport data page and your passport photo.
3. Enter Passport Details: Fill in all the required information from your passport data page.
4. Provide Trip Information: Complete sections concerning details of your trip to Vietnam.
5. Payment of E-Visa Fee: Pay the e-Visa fee through any of the available payment methods.
6. Registration Code: Once the payment is processed, you will receive a registration code. Save this code for future reference.

Downloading Your Vietnam E-Visa

Once you have applied for your Vietnam e-Visa for attending HawaExpo 2024, follow these steps to download it:

• Processing Time: Expect to wait three working days after your application for the e-Visa to be processed.
• Check Visa Status: After three days, check the status of your e-Visa by visiting the provided visa status link.
• Access Your E-Visa: Enter your registration code, email address, and date of birth to access the e-Visa.
• Download and Print: Download the e-Visa in .pdf format and print two copies for safekeeping during your travels.
• In Case of Delays: If your e-Visa is not available after three working days, reach out to Vietnam’s e-Visa Support for assistance.
