High Point Market is the largest and most prestigious trade show in the world for the global wood and furniture industry. Held annually, it features over 200 exhibitors across 180 buildings and attracts more than 100,000 visitors from around the globe. This trade show is considered highly valuable for fostering business connections and consistently draws companies from the wood, furniture, and artisanal sectors.

In order to implement the 2023 National Trade Promotion Program aimed at promoting the national image and Vietnamese brands while enhancing the export of competitive wood and interior decoration products from Vietnam and expanding the export market in the United States, the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Trade Promotion Agency collaborated with domestic and international partners to organize a Vietnamese business delegation to participate in the High Point Market (HPMKT) furniture fair in the United States from October 14 to 18, 2023.

The Vietnam Pavilion booth is all set to welcome visitors from October 14th to 17th, 2023. The Vietnam Pavilion, jointly organized by Vietrade and HAWA, brings together 16 Vietnamese Wood & Craft businesses for exhibition. Simultaneously, it serves as a platform for promoting the HawaExpo fair to the key U.S. market.

Feedback from the fair indicates that all participating businesses were highly satisfied with the support provided by Vietrade and Hawa, especially those businesses participating for the first time and seeking opportunities to access the promising U.S. market.

HAWA brings 16 Vietnamese manufacturers to High Point Market

These Vietnamese-owned manufacturers, many of whom have extensive experience in designing and producing products for the U.S. and other markets, are now seeking to expand their presence in the U.S. market.

While their production capacity may not match that of some Taiwanese- and Chinese-owned counterparts, they specialize in creating handcrafted and artisanal furniture, accents, accessories, and handicrafts that offer a unique decorative touch that is challenging to replicate elsewhere.

During the market, these manufacturers can be found in Space 231-233 at the Centers of High Point Hamilton, where each company is showcasing a selection of their product range.

Additionally, they will provide market visitors with information about their upcoming major event, HawaExpo 2024, scheduled for March 6-9, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City.
