The United States stands as a primary export destination for Vietnam’s wood products. Recognizing this, HAWA representatives engaged in an online discussion with the Vietnam Trade Office in the US on November 18. The focus of this meeting was to enhance the promotion of HawaExpo 2023 and to seek the support of other Trade Offices, thereby facilitating easier access to buyers in the US market.
Strategic Collaboration with the Vietnam Trade Office in the US
Mr. Do Ngoc Hung, Vietnam Trade Counselor in the US, highlighted the Trade Office’s dedicated efforts to boost the visibility of Vietnam’s wood industry in the American market.
He stressed the strategic use of diverse marketing channels to enhance the fair’s profile. Additionally, Mr. Hung revealed that the Trade Office will facilitate vital connections with prominent organizations like the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC), US Chamber of Commerce (USCC), and various Furniture Retail and Handicraft Industry Associations in the United States.
This initiative aims not only to elevate the fair’s prominence but also to attract American buyers to participate in HawaExpo, thereby creating a bridge between Vietnamese wood producers and the US market.
The collaboration between HAWA and the Vietnam Trade Office in the US is a strategic move to expand HawaExpo 2023’s influence in the American market.
